| Bio: | I'm a big & tall guy with a friendly, outgoing attitude raising 3 teenagers on my own. I like going to concerts, good movies, and live theatre. I am currently into folk/acoustic/roots/celtic/blues/jazz music. I still listen to some classic prog rock bands from the 70's and British bands from the 80's. Favourites include The Tannahill Weavers, Tanglefoot, Great Big Sea, The Chieftans, Van Morrison, Brian Setzer, Harry Connick Jr, Robert Cray, Robbie Robertson, Colin Linden, The Clash, XTC, Squeeze, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, King Crimson, & Robert Palmer. I love to read historical books (fiction and non-fiction) and I have a particular interest in the rise and demise of the British Empire (Elizabeth I to Elizabeth II). I enjoy visiting historical places (military/naval/renaissance/pioneer/aboriginal) and I am planning to get involved in historical re-enacting.
